About Yvaine Whippets
A Little History of Me
My name is Tamzin Hart and purebred dogs have been a part of my entire life. I think my parents, Terry & Stephanie Horan of Immerzu Puli Kennel Reg'd, had children so they'd have extra handlers!
I was a successful junior handler, groomer, trainer, and midwoof and the experience I gained growing up has been put to good use, and the occasional test, over the last 20 years.
I got my first Rhodesian Ridgeback in 2004, and was very successful as a breeder, owner, and handler. I bred five litters of Ridgebacks under the Invictus kennel name, with my last born in 2012. In 2011, Am. GCh. Invictus Nightmare before Xmas JC, also known as Zero, won best of Breed at Westminster Kennel Club, one of the most exciting events of my time in purebred dogs. While I still adore the breed, I wanted to downsize, so in 2019 I acquired my first Whippet, Yvaine.
I'm a member in good standing with the Canadian Kennel Club and also serve as the Vice President of the East Coast Sighthound Association. Feel free to contact me for more information on lure coursing and how you can introduce your Whippet to chasing the plastic bunny!
Whippets are my Patronus
Once I added a Whippet puppy to my home, I knew this was the breed for me. The dogs and I have enjoyed success in the show ring and on the field. Each dog holds multiple titles in various events, with more to come! While I don't expect puppy homes to pursue competitive sports with their dogs, I want them to know their puppy is ready to enjoy all kinds of activities.
They're Like Potato Chips
As the saying goes, once you have one Whippet, chances are you'll want another. So far I've impulse bought two Whippet puppies with no regrets. We're an active house with four dogs, each with their own unique personality. Whether you're looking for your first Whippet or searching for another to add to your pack, reach out to Yvaine Whippets.
