Meet Our East Coast Whippets
Can. Gr. Ch. Bretica's Stardust NS CA
Yvaine, affectionately known as Bean, was my first Whippet, and the namesake for my kennel. She is a Canadian Grand Champion with multiple group placements and wins in the show ring. She loves to chase the plastic bunny out on the field; easily obtaining her Chase Ability and Sprinter titles, several points toward her Field Championship, and two qualifying scores toward her Single Courser title. She also absolutely loves the Frisbee!

Tinsel joined us in 2022 from Aisling Whippets. She caught my eye online and I just had to have her. She is absolutely gorgeous, completely weird, and I just adore her quirky personality. She easily completed her Canadian Championship but her heart is out on the coursing field. She earned her Novice Sprinter title with ease and has qualifying scores toward her Chase Ability, Single Courser, and Field Champion titles. We're hoping to chase the plastic bunny some more this year to finish a couple of performance titles. There is also potential for her to have Whippet puppies in 2026, so watch this space!
Can. Ch. WhistleStop Time for Some Thrilling Heroics NS
Jayne is the only boy in the house. I kept him from Yvaine's first litter in 2023. He is sweet, gentle, and only ever wants to be a Good Boy. In 2025, he earned his Canadian Championship, his Novice Sprinter title and a qualifying score toward his Single Courser title despite his confusion about why he's being ask to chase a plastic bunny (the real ones are so much more fun!). He's also excited for the potential to become a father in 2026.
Aisling's Simply Saucy Sue NS
Zuzu was a textbook impulse buy from Aisling Whippets. She is Tinsel's niece and they are clearly cut from the same cloth. Zuzu is a little spitfire of a Whippet who lives for the plastic bunny and has proven herself on the coursing field by easily obtaining her Novice Sprinter title and qualifying scores toward her Single Courser title. She's working on her Canadian Championship with multiple group placements so far and I have no doubt 2026 is her year. She's fun, cheerful, and doesn't let anything dampen her spirits.
